Cheaper linings on the Coast stain, warp or crack at the joins. We specify moisture-resistant board, sealed joins and corrosion-protected fixings where the site calls for them, so the walls keep a paint-ready finish through the wet season.

How we work

Four steps from the first measure to handover, with one crew doing the framing, the sheeting and the finish.

  1. Book a measure

    We visit the property, record site conditions such as moisture risk and access, and show you the most durable options.

  2. Plan and protect

    Floors and furnishings are protected, levels set out, and the right linings chosen for the room and its exposure.

  3. Install and finish

    Framing, lining, jointing and sanding, coordinated with the electrician and plumber so the job stays on time.

  4. Final check

    We walk through the work with you and leave painting and drying advice suited to Sunshine Coast humidity.

Will new walls cope with Sunshine Coast humidity?
Yes. We select moisture-rated products and sealing methods where needed, let substrates dry properly and use corrosion-resistant fixings suited to the coastal environment.
How long until I can paint?
Drying time depends on the system and the humidity at the time. We give you a realistic painting window in the quote and recommend primers that cope with coastal conditions.
Can you work around us if we are still living in the house?
Yes. We phase the job to limit disruption, protect living areas and coordinate with the other trades.
Do new internal walls need council paperwork?
Most internal walls do not. If the building classification or a fire rating is involved we will tell you and include the documentation needed.
Do you repair walls after storm damage?
Yes. We assess the damage, let the frame dry, replace affected linings and upgrade the details if the site is in a high-exposure coastal zone.
